During which, we meet and have an opportunity to further discuss what brought you to therapy. This is a chance for you to see where and how I work, and for both of us to get to know each other. Regular sessions

Each session is 50 minutes long and we would meet on a weekly basis. The work is open-ended, so you donโ€™t have to sign up for a specific number of sessions. One approach that I find useful though is to plan for an initial block of 12 sessions, at which point we reflect on the process, and then decide what to do next.

Whether we work short or long-term, we would have regular reviews to see if we are on the right path.

Ending

Is an important part of the therapeutic process, therefore it is something we would prepare for in advance. However, you can end whenever you choose, and likewise, you would be welcome back anytime, if that works for both of us.
